It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Hansen (Ankeny, Iowa), who passed away on May 3, 2020, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Matthew Hansen. He is survived by: his mother Sara Keenan of Ankeny; his son Kamden of Pleasant Hill; and his brother Ben Hansen of Ankeny. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Des Moines Animal Rescue League.
