He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Emil and JoAnne Kaufmann (Myotte); his parents-in-law, James William and Celta Mae Gannaway (Norris); his sister-in-law Alice Jeanette Cornelius; and his aunt Elizabeth Louise Stamps.
He is survived by: his wife Pam Kaufmann (Gannaway); his daughter Brittany Harvey (Dave); his grandchildren, Cherish Roseanne, Destiny Harley, Anna Marie and Alice Jeanette; and his sister Roberta Drake. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
