She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry A. Tigges and Dominica A. Tigges (Bauer); her son David J. Miller; her husband Terry Miller; and her brothers, Norbert Tigges and George Tigges.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Miller (Tammy) of Ankeny and Thomas Miller (Laura) of Ames; her siblings, Vernon Tigges (Norma) of Dexter and Millie Wurzer of Coon Rapids; and her grandchildren, Josh Webster (Keesha) of Boone, Brandon Miller (Jennifer) of West Des Moines, Dustin Miller, Elizabeth Miller (Delphine) of Paris, France, JoAnna Scott of Des Moines, Ashley Lookingbill (Ron) of Woodward, Okla., Theresa Edwards (Eric) of Council Bluffs, Rachel Goetz (Ryan) of Ponca, Neb., Taylor Miller of Omaha, Neb., Karleigh Miller (Logan Hoggatt) of Eau Claire, Wisc., Mackenzie Wright (Keegan) of Keystone, Hannah Miller (Nathan) of Cedar Rapids and Eli Miller (Mary Boksa) of Iowa City. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ankeny Funeral Home (1510 W 1st St, Ankeny, IA 50023). Visitation was held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (510 E 1st St, Ankeny, IA 50021).
