It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karon Richardson (Ankeny, Iowa), who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Leon O. Richardson; and her mother Betty Hilgenberg. She is survived by : her daughters, Lorrie Hanifen, Lea Ann Vaughan (Paul) and Julie Howard (Robert); her grandchildren, Jordan Hanifen, Leigha Hanifen, Allison Hertz (John) and Hannah Howard; her great grandchildren, Jaylen Winbush, Olivia and Ellie Hanifen; and her siblings, Karla Raub and Denny Kahler.
