It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Levurne Michael Murray of Ankeny, Iowa, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murray and Freda Murray; his son Mitchell John Murray; his siblings, Ralph Murray, John Murray, Jr., Larry Murray, Charles Murray, Aletha MacDonald and Charlotte; his nephews, Dennis Murray and Nick McDonald; and his niece Patsy Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly Murray of Ankeny; and his son Michael Murray of Ankeny. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and great-nephews and great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ankeny Presbyterian Church (317 SE Trilein Dr, Ankeny, IA 50021). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ankeny Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society.
