With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorene Marie Templeman of Ankeny, Iowa, who passed away on September 6, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob B. Fendel and Sophie Stecker Fendel. She is survived by : her husband Wayne O. Templeman; her daughters, Rachel Sykes and Rabecca Joyce (Dennis); her grandchildren, Jason Joyce, Justin Sykes (Jana) and Stephanie Sykes-Comas (Angel); her granddaughter-in-law Gina Sykes; her great grandchildren, Cecilia Sykes, Christopher Sykes, Samuel Comas, Isaiah Comas, Jacob Sykes, Cael Sykes, Caden Sykes and Joshua Sykes; and her grandsons, Christopher and Brian Sykes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Church of Christ in memory of Lorene.
