It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Jean Cochran of Ankeny, Iowa, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Neuzil and Jean Neuzil; and her brother William Neuzil. She is survived by: her husband Danny Cochran; her children, Julie Cochran (Matthew Applebaum) and Jason Cochran (Holly); her grandchildren, Jessica Applebaum, Daniel Applebaum, Titus Cochran, McCoy Cochran and Maple Cochran; and her caregiver Mary.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023). A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (510 E 1st St, Ankeny, IA 50021).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude's Hospital or ARDS Alliance.
