We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 87, Nancy Sherwood Davidson (Ankeny, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Nancy Sherwood farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nancy Sherwood is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Davidson; and her son Jeffery Davidson. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Kohlsdorf (Doug); her grandchildren, Gary Davidson, Andrew Kohlsdorf (Amanda), Erin Kohlsdorf and Art Davidson; and her great grandchild Zander Davidson.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie Ridge Church (825 NW 36th St, Ankeny, IA 50023).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, (woundedwarriorproject.org) in honor of her generous spirit and enduring support to our troops.
