It is with sadness that the passing of Norman Leroy Bebout of Ankeny, Iowa is shared. Norman, born on October 16, 1939, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Norman will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Norman by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Norman is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Norman’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Bebout and Isabel Bebout; his wife Susan Ruth; and his brothers, Fred and Larry.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Kendall (Randy), Mike Bebout (Cristina), Carole Bebout and Steven Bebout. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and his cherished extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church (510 E 1st St, Ankeny, IA 50021). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Norman Bebout's name to Taylor House Hospice.
