He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Underhill and Carrie Underhill; his former wife Margaret; and his grandson Aaron Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Paula Nelson (Ward) of Ankeny, Jayne Underhill of Maxwell and Shannon Golwitzer (Kevin) of Elkhart; his grandchildren, Chelsey Cook (Tyler), Hannah Paul (Rachael), Ethan Nelson (Rachel), Alec Nelson (Samantha), Kassidee Golwitzer and Sean Golwitzer; his great grandchildren, Coraline, Mirabell, Royce and Ryder; and his stepchildren, Lucinda, Brenda, Warren and Myron. He is also survived by spouses and eight step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Services of Iowa (4208 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
