He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Brannan and Dorothy Brannan; his daughter Kelly Snow; his brother Raymond Brannan (Mike); and his parents-in-law, Carroll and Vera Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Brannan; his sons, Rod Brannan (Kathy) and Robert Brannan (Angelina); his grandchildren, LaRae Stinson (Kyle), Taylor Doornenbal (Drew), Jackson Brannan (Macee) and Kaylynne Snow; his great grandchildren, Paige Stinson, Khloe Stinson, Austen Stinson, Layla Doornenbal and Zeke Doornenbal; his siblings, Shirley Hanson and Steve Brannan (Rita); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Brannan. He is also survived by many other family members, including nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of Hope Ankeny (520 NW 36th St, Ankeny, IA 50023).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa in loving memory of Red Brannan.
