He was predeceased by : his mother Vivian Doris Wilson (Dimit); his wife Patricia Ann Wilson; his father Forrest Wilson; and his brothers, Michael Wilson and Jimmy Wilson.

He is survived by : his children, Scott Wilson (Jennie) of Ankeny and Wendy Kralik (Tracy) of Pleasant Hill; his grandchildren, Jenna Mae Darling (Jerad), Taylor Wilson, Emma Kralik and Levi Kralik (Mariah); his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Jayce, Jolie Darling and Kacen Kralik; and his sister Marilyn Lewallen.

Memorials may be directed to the family in loving memory of Richard to be given to a charity of their choosing.
