He is survived by: his former wife Virginia Risse; his children, Lori Crandall (Bret) of Solon, Lee Fichtner of Vinton, Todd Thorson (Christine) of Jewell and Tawnya Bauch (Aaron) of Ankeny; his son-in-law Brad Knous of Eldridge; his grandchildren, Logan Hamm (Emily), Megan Prohaska (Mitch), Austin Hamm (Molly), Drew, Parker Crandall, Cody Thorson, Finn, Bret, Luke Knous, Lily and Anna Bauch; his great grandchildren, Uzziah Cournoyer, Addison, Charlotte Hamm, Addilyn and Kennedi Prohaska; Sheri Schmitt.
