It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shawn Skelton (Ankeny, Iowa), born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his brother Chris; his grandparents, Leone, Harold Skelton, Esther and Arnold Bockenstedt; and his uncles, Bob Skelton, Dr. Tim Bockenstedt and Dr. Joel Huth.

He is survived by : his son Patrick; his brothers, Matt (Brandy), Jay (Erin), Dan (Carina) and Stephen; his nieces and nephews, Kayla, Jennah, Kate, Ruby, Jack and C. J. (Susan Uknes); his aunts, Carol Skelton and Joan Bockenstedt; and his cousins, Bruce, Tyler and Ellee Bockenstedt. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
