Horton of Ankeny, Iowa, born in Dryden, New York, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winston Givens and Katheryn Givens (Newlon). She is survived by: her husband Rev. Howard D. Horton; her siblings, Patricia Robinson and Robert Givens (Vickie); her daughters, Debra Strope (David) and Dianna Collingwood; her grandchildren, Katherine Rodriguez (Hosea), Elisabeth Jeffords (Brian), Rebekah Strope-Boggus (Kimberley), David Andrew Strope (Jessica) and Benjamin Collingwood; her great grandchildren, Marina Phillips, Ava Rodriguez, Victoria, Alexander, Emmeline, Eleanor Jeffords, Jacob, Weston, Olive Strope-Boggus, Rowyn, Ryker and Reagan Strope; and her great great grandchild Ezekiel Phillips.
