He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Hunwardsen and Ella Hunwardsen (Christophersen); his former wife Rosalie Hunwardsen; his son Michael Hunwardsen; his son-in-law Jerry Boggs; his granddaughter Sheri Moore; his siblings, Vera Lorenzen (Burdette), Earl, Roy "Butch" (Janice) and Gary Hunwardsen; his in-laws, Roger and Kathryn Clark; and his brother-in-law Gaylon Gotliebson.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie "Rosie" Clark; his children, David Hunwardsen (Pam) of Gladstone, MO, Kevin Hunwardsen of Correctionville, IA and Shelley Boggs of Anthon, IA; his grandchildren, Erica Somsky (Chris), Nicholas Boggs, Nathan Boggs (Rachel), Dillon Hunwardsen (Heather), Alyssa Goslar (Seth) and Josh Moore; his sister Lois Gotliebson of Colfax, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Hunwardsen of Kingsley, IA and JoAnn Hunwardsen of Galt, CA. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, as well as extended family.
