He was predeceased by: his father Randall Kolder; and his grandparents, Richard, Ivadean Frey, Albert and Lydia Kolder.

He is survived by: his mother Roxanne Kolder (Frey); his wife Elaina Kolder; his children, Kenedie Kolder, Adelyn Kolder and Haze Kolder; his sister Kari Alberts (Trent); his nieces, Caitlin Jacobsma (Dawson) and Elise Alberts; his nephew Trace Alberts; and his parents-in-law, Diana Siela (Zak) of Cedar Falls and Doug Atchison of Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
