He was predeceased by : his parents, John Meyer and Grace Meyer (Ruter); and also, Albert and Florence Kuiper. He is survived by : his wife Jeanie Rae Kuiper of Aplington; his daughter Kristie Nevenhoven (Corey) of Steamboat Rock, Iowa; and his granddaughters, McKinley and Maci.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Reformed Church (905 Caldwell St, Aplington, IA 50604). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
