She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew A. Schipper and Albertha Schipper (Eilderts); her husband Dennis Johnson; and her brother Eldon Schipper. She is survived by: her children, Scott Johnson (Karen) of Garwin and Sandi Emerson (Randy) of Newton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Josh Carroll, Alyssa Carroll, Andrew Johnson and Jessica Johnson; her great grandchild Soffia Tucker; her great great grandchild David; her brother Art Schipper (Diane) of Aplington; and her sister-in-law Shirley Schipper of Madison, Alabama..
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parkersburg Funeral Home (507 2nd St, Parkersburg, IA 50665). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Bethel Reformed Church (29557 Hickory Ave, Aplington, IA 50604).
