She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Lupkes and Mame Lupkes (Penning); and her siblings, Gaylord Lupkes and Miriam Garrels. She is survived by: her husband Earl Lucas DeVries of Aplington; and her sister-in-law Patty Lupkes of Ackley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hitesville Gospel Hall (17527 260th St, Aplington, IA 50604).
