Marilyn Doreen Klooster Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Doreen Klooster of Aplington, Iowa, who passed away on May 2, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Merton A. Iverson; her brother Larry Iverson; and her parents-in-law, Herman and Henrietta Klooster. She is survived by: her mother Marcella Iverson (Gilbertson) of Decorah; her husband Kevin Klooster of Aplington; her children, Kirk Klooster (Rachael) of Parkersburg, Kent Klooster (Missy) of Aplington and Courtney Anderson (Jon) of Ankeny; her grandchildren, Peyton, Jenzen, Tate, Greyson and Blakely; her brother Randy Iverson (Kari) of Decorah; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Schipper (Arthur) of Aplington, Judy Koenen of Bristow and Pat Verrips (Thorval) of Woodward. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
