She is survived by: her children, Denise Kemper (Jon) of Montrose and Chad Brotherton (Wednesday) of Argyle, Iowa; her grandchildren, Lee Kemper (Kyla), Austin Kemper (Anna), Chance Shannon, Chase Brotherton (Rachel) and Cassidy Mason (Tracy); her great grandchildren, Keeley, Parker, Lexi, Baylor, Savannah, Ava, Elijah, Madilynn and Myatt; her siblings, Stephen Smith (Patsy), Kathy Smith, Penny Mitchell (Jeff) and Peggy Smith Stickle (Kevin); and her siblings-in-law, Paul Brotherton (Ruth) and Glenna Brotherton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in her memory for the Argyle Presbyterian Church.
