She was predeceased by : her parents, Marion H. Rummel and Florence Anna Rummel (Fliehler); her husband Woodrow Raymond Pierce; her great grandchild Oscar Burns; and her siblings, Betty Rummel, Darlene Lower, Charles Rummel (Ruth), Wayne Rummel (Lena) and LeRoy Rummel.
She is survived by : her children, Karen Burns (Gene) of Strawberry Point, Kathy Pierce of Waterloo, Kevin Pierce of Arlington and Kandi Brewer (Randy) of Arlington; her brother Raymond Rummel (Joyce) of Maynard; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Rummel of Fayette. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandson.
A memorial fund has been established for the Arlington City Park.
