He is survived by: his sons, Bruce Van Berkum (Mary) of Onalaska, WI and Todd Van Berkum (Julie) of La Crescent, MN; his son-in-law Jim Hull of St. Joseph, MI.; his grandchildren, Ryan Van Berkum, Brian Hull, Tyler Van Berkum (Lexi) and Kaetlin Van Berkum Lovell (James); his siblings, Lois Rensink and David Van Berkum (Marley); and his brothers-in-law, Billy Garrettson and Andrew De Jager (Barb).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Swea City Community Church (302 Cedar Ave W, Swea City, IA 50590). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
