He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. II and Catherine Sturm (Grabianowski); and his wife Marlene Sturm. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole "Nikki" Sturm; and his siblings, Joseph "Joe'Sturm and Judith Krueger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakeview Funeral Home (205 Albion Ave, Fairmont, MN 56031). A prayer was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (404 5th Ave, Armstrong, IA 50514).
