She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Barnes and Agnes Barnes (Ruroden); and her husband Wilbur Selck. She is survived by: her children, James Steele (Rosaline), Darrin Steele, David Selck (Melanie), Wayne Selck (Josie) and Wendy Kiser (Joe); her sisters, Sherry Griffith, Dorothy Reie (Chester), Karen Wilker (Ken), Vicky Miller (Frank) and Debbie Schroeder (Delvin); her grandchildren, Billy, Erin, Jesse Steele, Caitlin Alston, Joshua, Jacob Steele, Sarah Blair, Taylor Selck, Justine, Nova Selck, Draven and Mackenzie Kiser; and her stepson Bill Selck. She is also survived by 9 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (3634 1st Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
Memorials may be directed to the family for donation to a charity of their choice.
