In loving memory of Anna Kay of Atlantic, Iowa, who departed this world on April 18, 2026 at the age of 75. Anna leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Eklund and Bernice Eklund (Carstens); her husband Charles "Jack" Kay; and her granddaughter Pam. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Sanny of Atlantic; her grandchildren, Sydney of Walnut and Aiden of Atlantic; her stepchildren, Tina Simmons (Les) of Ames, Chuck Kay of Cedar Rapids, Randy Kay of Cedar Rapids, Jeff Kay (Amy) of Urbana and Jennifer LoveSmith (Tony) of Coggon, Iowa; and her siblings, Carol Jaeger (Michael) of Omaha, Nebraska, Larry Eklund (Donna) of Beaver Lake and Ron Eklund (Patti) of Bellevue, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roland Funeral Home (204 E 5th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gather and Grace Event Center (1904 E 7th St, Atlantic, IA 50022).
Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.
