He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick R. Detrick and Mary L. Detrick (Bascom); and his sisters, Kathy Jo and Patty Jennings. He is survived by: his sons, Brad Detrick (Kathy) of Kansas City, MO, Brian Detrick (Rachel) of Oskaloosa, IA and Brandon Detrick (Chelsa) of Platte City, MO; and his sister Peggy Rudolph of Oklahoma. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home (1220 Main St, Hamburg, IA 51640). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Riverton Fire Department or Riverton Hometown Pride (PO Box 124 Riverton, IA 51650).
