It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Joseph Schwarte (Atlantic, Iowa), born in Panama, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan Schwarte and Roseanne Schwarte; his sister Joan Anderson; and his parents-in-law, Alvin and Lois Troll.
He is survived by: his friends, Corn Growers of Iowa and Moostash Joe; his wife Carol Schwarte (Troll); his son Jon Schwarte (Barb Mitchell) of Wiota, IA; his grandchildren, Dannika, Dacoda and Cami; his daughter Jennifer Franko (Ray) of Trumbull, CT; his grandsons, Troy and Brett; his daughter Janece Schwarte; his grandchildren, Meikah, Sylvia and Jaeger; his great grandchildren, Addaline, Mirabella and Iris; his siblings, Robert Schwarte (Rhonda) of Atlantic, IA, James Schwarte (Kelly) of Elk Horn, IA, David Schwarte (Paula) of Atlantic, IA, Anthony Schwarte (Daneile) of Wiota, IA, Judy Collins of Atlantic, IA and Rosemary Napierala (Scott) of Omaha, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Troll (Paula) of Indianola, IA and Doris Ballanyte (Lester) of Council Bluffs, Iowa..
