She was predeceased by : her parents, Ollie Richmond and Eva Richmond (Miller); her husband Bob (Bob); her daughter Connie; and her great great grandchild Abby.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Debra Hollinrake (Francis) of Adair, Brad Barber (Terri) of Anita and Barbara Jo Norton (Mark) of Webster City; and her great grandchildren, Mathew Hollinrake (Keri) of Estherville, Jonathan Hollinrake (Dianna) of Sioux City, Elizabeth Lillard of Anita, Zach Barber of Anita, Amanda Buck (Jess) of Audubon, TJ, Wayne Victor (Kara) of Griswold, Jessica Casey (John) of Falls City and Heath Victor of Bedford.

Memorials may be directed to the Anita United Methodist Church in memory of Dorothy, and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022.
