She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Bruchmann and Elise Bruchmann (Siefke); her husband Donald Edgar Petersen; her daughter Lorine; her siblings, Irma Wirt and Fred Bruchmann; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Johansen, Wilma Bruchmann, Joan Weber and Don Wirt.
She is survived by : her daughters, Marie Alff (Howard) of Anita, IA, Janet Huey (Roger) of Atlantic, IA, Ruth Minick (Rich) of Dayton, OH and Sara Murray (Robert) of Plymouth, MN; her grandchildren, Sonia Nordmeyer (Toby Baker) of Lakewood, CO, Amber Beerman (Terry) of Anita, IA, Patrick McClain of Des Moines, IA, Brook Stensgaard Cruger (Matt) of Chicago, IL, Nick and Taylor Murray of Plymouth, MN; her great grandchild Devin McClain; her sisters, Elisabeth Seibert of Chicago, IL and Joy Gannon of St. Bonifacius, MN; and her sister-in-law Clarice Kumlien of Willow Wood, OH. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Covid took its toll and with the isolation her dementia advanced.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers trees to be planted in a US forest in need (see this opportunity on her posting at http://www.rolandfuneralservice.com) or memorials to be designated at a later date.
