She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton "Tony" Irlmeier and Frances Irlmeier (Muhlbauer); her husband Gerald Sylvester Thelen; her parents-in-law, Sylvester and Mathilda Thelen (Neuerberg); her daughter-in-law Jodi Thelen; her grandchildren, Lauren Rice and Garrett Carroll; and her sisters, Cecelia Nepple (Herbert), Marie Ertz (Ray), Lorene (Norbert) and Nepple.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Thelen (Alvina) of Anita, Susan Boes (Terry) of Bella Vista, AR, Duane Thelen (Ann) of Anita and Dale Thelen (Debra) of Bella Vista, AR; and her in-laws, Ralph Thelen of Davenport, IA, Mary Ann Ludwig of Carroll, IA, Lynette Schaffer of Omaha, NE, Virginia Thelen of Anita, Kay Thelen of Templeton, IA and Cecelia Thelen of Carroll, IA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
