With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Burrows of Atlantic, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Anne Burrows (Wurtz) and Robert Burrows; and his siblings, George Burrows (Mary), Don Burrows (Anna Mae), Robert Burrows (Winifred), Vera Combs (Earl), Marjorie Walker (Rex) and Martha Glenn.
He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Ruth Christensen, Rhonda Ross (Dave) and Robert Burrows (Shelly); his grandchildren, Misty Kepner (Brian), Seth Christensen, Chad Christensen (Morgan), Rachel Knop (Keith), Matt Wohlleber, Jennifer Dunn-Jones (CJ) and James Burrows; his great grandchildren, Royce, Quinn, Piper Kepner, Cydney Shriver (Eric), Saige Huss (Dustin Engel), Rylie, Reese Knop, Elle, Jase, Vaelin, Taevin, Nevaros, Zeke, Sophie and Delila; his great great grandchildren, Ezra, Enzo Shriver and Reini Engel; his grandson-in-law Jason Dunn; and his brother-in-law Carl Glenn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the United Church of Christ (1607 Hazel St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
