He was predeceased by : his parents, John E. Headlee and Lillian Esther Headlee (Pedersen); his parents-in-law, Erma and Lyle Larsen; and his brother-in-law Curtis Larsen.

He is survived by : his wife Linn of Atlantic, IA; his children, Chad Ryan Headlee of Denver, CO, Lincoln Ryan Headlee and Jaime Lynn Bergstrom of Lakewood, CO; his grandchild Kora Lynn Bergstrom; his sister Carolyn Jones (James) of Kearney, NE; his siblings-in-law, Mike Larsen (Nancy) of Polk City, IA, Krista Larsen of Omaha, NE and Paul; and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Jones of Lakewood, CO, Jeffrey Jones (Sara) of Kearney, NE, Lisa Witter (Brooks) of Lyons, CO, Kevin Larsen of Ames, IA and Craig Larsen (Lori) of Bondurant, IA. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
