We bid farewell to Judy Rathman of Atlantic, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Judy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Gipple and Jessie Gipple (Gaines); her daughter Tracy Sue Rathman; and her brothers, Charles Gipple and Kenneth Gipple.
She is survived by: her children, Jeana Sornson (Jon VanAernam) and Duane Rathman, Jr.; her grandchildren, Samantha Ritchey (Jake), Gage Sornson (Chenice) and Clay Sornson; her great grandchildren, Landon, Dutch, Halen Sornson, Brooks, Everly and Collins Ritchey; and her brother Dan Gipple (Pam). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; many extended family; and very dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roland Funeral Home (204 E 5th St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at the Atlantic Cemetery (63119 White Pole Rd, Atlantic, IA 50022).
