She was predeceased by : her husband Larry Turner; her brother Peter Fuller Janss; and her parents, Esther Fuller Janss (Fuller) and Peter William Janss. She is survived by : her brother Pete; her children, Pete Turner of Arvada, Stu Turner (Janelle) of Des Moines and Eleanor; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Janss of Charlotte, NC, Mary Fulton of Urbandale and Heidi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mary Turner, 84, longtime Atlantic resident and educator, died April 23, 2023, of complications from Alzheimer's at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.
