Ramona Knop Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ramona Knop of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottlieb Frank and Mary Frank (Wohlenhaus); her husband Stanley Knop; her in-laws, Albert and Elizabeth Knop; and her siblings, Louis Frank (Pauline) and Elizabeth Hines (Clair).

She is survived by: her children, Diane Probasco (Dave) of Urbandale, Iowa and Mike Knop of Atlantic; her grandchildren, Matthew Probasco (Kelsey), Tyler Probasco (Kristin) and Megan Lima (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Jace, Bria, Caden, Collin, Everett, Lucas, Tate, Emerson and Brooke. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Cass Health Nurse Apprenticeship Program in Atlantic or the First United Presbyterian Church in Atlantic.
