We announce the death of Rosalee Cook of Atlantic, Iowa, who passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 92. Rosalee will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Dana and Flossie Mae Foy (Reynolds); her grandmother Rosalee; her husband Darrell E. Cook; her siblings, Harold Foy, Richard Foy, Maurice Foy, Pinky Bierbaum, Irene Pontow and Joanne Kinzer; and her siblings-in-law, Velma Wheeler, Betty Glissmann, Norma Vollmuth, Talena Wheatley, Ernest Cook, Cleo Cook, Robert Cook and Donald Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Diane J. Schnare (Martin T. Schnare) of Hamel, IL, Denise E. Sharp (Robert H. Sharp) of Atlantic, James D. Cook (Shari Lee Cook) of Soddy Daisy, TN and Jeffrey E. Cook of Waukee, IA; her grandchildren, Zach Schnare (Dawn), Leah Sherman (Travis), Katie Mason (Logan), Kelsi Shields (Andrew), Garrett Cook (Catherine), Laura Cook, Michael Cook (Maci), Chelsea Ouverson (Casey) and Morgan Rinker (Austin); and her sisters-in-law, Donna Harms of Griswold, Marilyn Weber of Georgia and Karen Theulen (Lenny) of Atlantic.
