He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Ring and Dorothy Ring; his siblings, Gene Ring, Joseph and Mary; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Arline Wiechman; and his brother-in-law Richard Wiechman.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie of Elk Horn; his sons, Andy Ring (Kristi) of Elk Horn and Dan Ring (Amanda) of Minden, IA; his grandchildren, Carlin Ring, Lane Ring (Hannah), Kallen Ring and Raegan Ring; his great grandchildren, Briar and Lyla Ring; his stepgrandchildren, Dustin, Evan (Erin) and Alise; his siblings, Mick Ring of Neola, IA and Susie Jarosz (John) of Cedar Rapids, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Susan Ring of Fullerton, NE and Bill Wiechman (Lynn) of Clarinda, IA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Atlantic United Church of Christ (1607 Hazel St, Atlantic, IA 50022). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the Victoria Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family for later designation.
