He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Kearney and Mona Kearney (Bates); his wife Mary; his son John; and his sister-in-law Lois Rattenborg.
He is survived by : his children, Laura Mortensen (Jim) of Radcliff, KY, Paul (Ellen) of Creston, IA, Mary Ellen Byers (Kevin) of Anita, IA, Alan Kearney (Sheila) of Guthrie Center, IA and David Kearney of Lucama, NC; and his brother-in-law Keith Rattenborg of Oakland, IA. He is also survived by 9 Grandkids, 26 Great Grandkids, and 5 Great Great Grandkids.
