Darlene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Andersen and Vera Andersen (Johnson); her parents-in-law, Emmert and Betty Johnston (Walker); and her siblings-in-law, Lorena and Ron Riesgaard.
She is survived by: her friend Carol; her husband Larry Cameron Johnston; her daughters, Shari Magnussen (Kent) and Jill Johnston; her grandchildren, Joshua Magnussen (Jackie), Carrie Greiner (Scott), Zachary Magnussen, Emma Christensen, Courtney Marquis (Jared), Ben Christensen, Nate Christensen and Isabel Christensen; her great grandchildren, Kynlee Magnussen, Tucker Magnussen, Penelope Magnussen, Ophelia Marquis and Cleo Marquis; her sister Dixie Greedy (Larry); and her siblings-in-law, Gary Johnston (Kathy), John Johnston (Judy), Becky Shaw (John), Shirley Jensen, Kay Kjergaard (Jim), Jim Johnston (Mary) and Richard Johnston (Tracy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Johnston family and will later be designated in memory of Darlene.
