She was predeceased by: her parents, Edvard Kristian and Dorothy Isabelle Andersen (Lacy) of Audubon, Iowa.; her husband Dallas Gene Christensen; her siblings, Esther, Dale Rutherford of Elk Horn and John Edward Andersen (Sandy) of Hiawatha, Iowa; her granddaughter Amanda Nicole Wakelin; and her great grandchild Callie Michelle Wakelin.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Thomas (John Thomas, Jr.) of Papillion, Nebraska, Diane Wakelin (James Howard Wakelin) of Moravia, Iowa, Dalton (Marcia) of Audubon and Duane (Kristle) of Huron, SD.; her grandchildren, Jessica Matthews of Omaha, Stephen Wakelin of Ottumwa, Brandon Thomas of Seattle, WA, Jason Thomas of Lincoln, NE and Dakota Christensen (Kari) of Murray, Iowa.; her great grandchildren, Aaron, Vincent and Brynlee Wakelin of Ottumwa; her sisters-in-law, Lois Pfeiffer of Lake Havasu, Arizona and Violet Rush of Atlantic; and her in-laws, Nels Christen Christensen and Anna Marie Christensen (Lund).
