He was predeceased by : his wife June Rose Nielsen of Saviour's Lutheran Church; his daughter Joy Nielsen; his brother Robert (Marjorie Nielsen); and his brother-in-law Gordon Gude. He is survived by : his sons, Lee (Norma Nielsen) of Ross and Dean (Jane Nielsen) of Papillion, Nebraska; and his siblings, Beverly Gude of Lincoln, Paul (Janet Nielsen) of Harlan and Barbara (Gary McFarland) of Sandy. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
