Robert John Monahan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert John Monahan of Audubon, Iowa, who passed away on November 8, 2020 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lyle Monahan and Eleanor Monahan (Coleman); his wife Diane Monahan; and his brother Pat Monahan (Jan Monahan) of Spirit Lake, Iowa. He is survived by : his former life partner Janell Parsons; his children, Erin (T. J. Bouda) of Ankeny, Iowa, Robbi (Kevin Wittrock) of Audubon, Iowa and Riley (Emily Monahan) of Lakeville, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Jack of Ankeny, Kate Bouda of Ankeny, Mia of Audubon, Eli of Audubon, Emmet Wittrock of Audubon, Brooks of Lakeville and Brody Monahan of Lakeville; his siblings, Mark (Kathleen Monahan) of Severna Park, Maryland, Kathy (Thomas Ainsworth) of Portland, Maine, Tom and Barb Monahan of Hutchinson, Kansas; and his stepchildren, Ty, Tad and Taylor Maschino. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
