He was predeceased by : his parents, Folmer John and Martha Bonnesen (Knudsen); his wife Deanna "Dee" Faye Johansen; and his brother-in-law Daryl Fischer. He is survived by : his children, Sue (Mark Sangwin) of Aurelia, Bruce Bonnesen of Aurelia and Karla Solko of Aurelia; his grandson Mason (Steph Sangwin); his great grandchild Stetson of Cherokee; his grandchildren, Trevor (Jacee Sangwin) of Aurelia, Alex Sangwin of Aurelia, Douglas Bonnesen, Courtney Johnson of Cherokee and Kurtis (Ashlnn Bonnesen); his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Kal of Aurelia, Tiffany Bonnesen, Howard Henkelvig of Emmetsburg, IA, Jacey (Jacob Spieler), Skyler Solko and Nailea Valdivia of Des Moines; his sister Janet (Galan Johannsen) of Harlan; his sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Fischer of Ankeny and Clarann (Steve Burgess) of Clive; and also, Fallen and Vada of Marcus. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
