She was predeceased by : her parents, Hugo Gerstandt and Emma Gerstandt (Streufert); her husband Floyd D. Swanson; her siblings, August (Geneva Gerstandt), Herman (Delores Gerstandt), Edward (Erma Gerstandt), Albert (Elfrieda Gerstandt), Elsie (Lester Kuehl), Margaret Gerstandt, Ida (Delbert Wiese) and Helen (Elmer Dau); her niece Judy Wallace (Gerstandt); and also Marvin Gerstandt.
She is survived by : her children, Teresa Kelley of Sioux City, IA, Bill Swanson of Aurelia and Byron (Michelle); her grandchildren, Sarah (Anthony Gill) of Jackson, NE, Amanda (Austin Stuhr) of Alta, IA, Matthew Swanson of Indianola, IA and Michael Swanson of Indianola, IA; and her great grandchild Braxton Stuhr of Alta. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
