She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Mortland and Lillian Mortland (Stasell); her husband Jim; her sisters, Elaine (George Williams) and Rosemary (Raymond Bradley); her parents-in-law, Elizabeth and Glen Beveridge; and her niece Brandi Bradley.
She is survived by: her daughter Sonia (Ted Galvin) of Cherokee; her grandchildren, Miranda of Sioux City and Marcus (Jared) of Scottsdale, AZ; and her great grandchildren, CJ and Calena Galvin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be divided between the Heyworth Railroad Museum, the Christmas Elves at the United Church of Heyworth, and the First Presbyterian Church of Alta.
