With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger A. Redig of Aurelia, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Anton and Betty Redig; his parents-in-law, George and Jo Cowell; and his brother-in-law Rick Hilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Jo (Simon) and Roman Anton (Shelby); his grandchildren, Erica, Riley Williams of Estherville, Remi and Ryan Redig of Aurelia, Iowa.; his siblings, Marcia Hilbert and Randy Redig; his nieces and nephews, Amy (Brad Pohlman), Nicolle (Eric Rubendall), Mandy (Trevor Shannon), Sarah Hilbert (Donna Lancaster), Leah Beth Schipper, Anna Kaye Cowell, Thomas (Jazmine Cowell), Simon Cowell and Lakota Cowell; his cousin Steven Ellrich; Suzi Gustafson. He is also survived by many relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established.
