It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Ubben of Austinville, Iowa, born in Iowa Falls, Iowa, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Francis Houlihan and Mary Houlihan (McLaughlin); her husband Dear Sweet Thomas; her parents-in-law, Ted and Irene Ubben; her siblings, Patricia Nollette and Mike Houlihan; her brother-in-law Ronnie Carruthers; and her nephew Rick Nollette.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry (Echo) of Ankeny, Ryan (Colette) of St. Ansgar, Pat (Trisha) of Ackley and Kent (Gina) of Austinville; her sister Colleen Carruthers of Ankeny; and her siblings-in-law, Dale (Lori) of Austinville, Ron Nollette of Omaha and Marilyn La Pierre of Brandon. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
