It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hansen of Avoca, Iowa, born in Logan, Iowa, who passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hansen and Vivian Hansen (Berger); his wife Judy Hansen; his daughter Robin Henningsen; and his siblings, Lyle Hansen, John Hansen and Carolyn Waldemer.
He is survived by: his children, Tami Edge of Humboldt, Jeff Hansen of Wiota and Cory Hansen (Kristie) of Stuart; his son-in-law Breck Henningsen of Oakland; his sister Kathy Lecnar of Newton; and his sister-in-law Elaine Hansen of Arizona. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a local animal shelter.
